Ant : They live in social classes, and make a society consisting of different classes based on the structures and assignments.

The highest population is the labor class. The gonads of the labor ants became blunt.

They conduct food provision, nest making, defense and brood care. The gonad of the queen ant on the other hand is significantly developed. They only lay eggs. They are different from the labor ants since they have wings in the mating period. Some of them live for 15 to 20 years. Male ants are distringushed from labor and queen ants with their slim structure.

They do not eject their wings, they go far away from the house as soon as mating and die in few days afterward. The queen start to lay eggs in March. In September eggs laying shall stop. They store many types of foods and carry grain seeds to their house especially. They are to be removed from houses since they cause bad appearance. The effective fight includes finding and terminating their house and finding and eliminating the queen. If any ant is seen during winter times, it should be considered that they built a house interior. They prefer to build house in the external environment in summer.

It is recommended to use insecticides licensed by the Ministry of health used in public health.
