Some of the fumigants licensed for use in our country:
Methyl Bromide (CHɜBr) Methyl bromide gas is a colorless and poisonous gas.
Especially, it is intensely used to terminate the pests, soil originated diseases in the green houses and the areas in which root plants are grown.
Also, it is widely used against pests for the products in warehouse.
Phosphine Gas (PHȝ) Phosphine gas is produced as Magnesium phosphide and Aluminum phosphide.
Phosphine gas is a fumigant with wide area of use on account of its positive properties such as high penetrability and low remnant problems.
This gas being very poisonous has the smell of carbide and is flammable.
It has oxidizing and corrosive feature on all metals save for few ones.
