What is Disinfection?

Disinfection is the removal or complete termination of the pathogen organisms. Disinfection defines quite large range. In disinfection process, chemical disinfectants are used generally. There are two disinfection methods. One is applied by using very high temperature level to terminate all microorganisms and other one is high level disinfection applied in quite long process.

What is Sterilization?

Sterilization is the process of removal of all microorganisms on or inside an object. In sterilization process, all microorganisms in the environment shall be terminated. There is no level in sterilization, it is applied once. As it is applied once, all microorganisms like bacteria, viruses, spores are terminated. The purpose of sterilization to terminate all microorganisms.
