Tarpaulin fumigation, also known as sheeted fumigation, involves completely enclosing goods held in bulk or on pallets with a purpose-made gas-tight sheet and carrying out the fumigation inside the sealed enclosure that is created. Where fumigating an entire warehouse or facility is not necessary, this method allows a controlled treatment to be applied only to specific product groups.

How Is the Application Carried Out?
Before the treatment, the goods, their packaging and the stacking arrangement are inspected by our specialist team. Once the product group has been arranged appropriately, it is fully enclosed with a dedicated fumigation sheet. The points where the sheet meets the floor are sealed, creating a controlled treatment enclosure.
Throughout the fumigation, site safety and gas levels are monitored by authorised personnel. At the end of the specified exposure period, the sheet is opened under controlled conditions, the goods are aerated and the necessary measurements are taken. Once safe conditions have been confirmed, the goods are released for storage or shipment.
