Grasshopper

They measure between 2.5 and 3.5 cm, and are in black or brown color; they have thick cornered body and long legs ensuring jumping.  

Grasshoppers generally living exterior may go interior for feeding and refuging. The grasshoppers  attracted by light may enter inside the building from the open windows, cracks and holes on the building walls.

They are particularly known as damaging the dirty garments for feeding purposes.

Their habitats are planted areas, woodlands, long bushes and ivy near the buildings, timber and stone piles.

One of the most important points in fight against the grasshoppers is to terminate and apply pesticide on their habitats.
